If you don’t know of Pioneer Works….well, you should. Imagine a dilapidated decrepit shithole of a building right on the waterfront in Red Hook for sale and only one person crazy enough to buy it:

30 months later, this piece of rubble was turned into a massively beautiful, open and inspiring think tank filled with brilliant and bubbling minds: physicists, artists in residence, 3-D printers, photographers, coders, musicians, dancers.

Creative Mornings hosted a talk by Dustin in Pioneer Works early this morning and for those who were willing to make the frigid pilgrimage down we were granted access not only to the entire three floor facility, but also to his wide open garage studio and showroom (good luck walking out with one of these glass sculptures) with artists working amongst the crowd.


Lucky you. Dustin will be offering up more of his goods this weekend at: Pioneer Works Open House this Sunday from 5-10pm. Music at 7pm.
